A master double bass, the only one made by the outstanding German luthier Thorsten Theis. Theis is known on the cello market. The presented double bass was made in 2009; seasoned material was used for its construction, the top plate is solid, a solid spruce board. Bottom plate, sides, neck are made of beautiful sycamore.

This cocoon has an outer fabric of pure dupioni silk woven from gold coloured warp threads and purple coloured weft threads. It is lined with a golden satin.

This classic cello bag is made of very thin lining for men’s suits woven in jacquard weave. The bag is simply slipped over the cello scroll from above and then falls down over the entire body almost by itself. It is therefore an uncomplicated alternative to our elaborate CelloCocoons, which are closed with a zip fastener, padded and cut to fit very precisely. The CelloBag, which closes at the endpin with a drawstring strap, is cut wide so that the cello can be packed away as quickly as possible. The satin-like fabric protects the instrument from minor scratches and moderate temperature fluctuations. From a technical point of view, it is elaborately made with a French seam (also called a right-left seam in German) so that it cannot snag on the instrument when it is put on. The fabric glides smoothly over the corners as well as down over the fine tuners of the tailpiece. The thinness of the material makes the bag completely uncomplicated to fit into all kinds of cases. It is offered in one size that all cellos will fit into. The CelloBag also exists as a luxurious version made of pure Italian silk satin.

Our new ViolinCocoon Arctic Winter – extra padded is constructed like a mummy sleeping bag for violins and protects your violin from extreme cold. It is lined with 5mm polyester fleece and is suitable for all players who have to take their instrument out on the road in wind and weather. The ViolinCocoon Arctic Winter keeps your violin at room temperature on the way to the concert/ opera/ violin lesson/ university or orchestra rehearsal and thus prevents it from suddenly cooling down. The pegs stay in place and the violin keeps its tuning. Due to its volume, the ViolinCocoon Arctic Winter only fits into loose-fitting violin cases and should ideally be tried on.

This one is made from a blend of dark blue wool and has a lining patterned with green cubes.
